astronomicalconsiderations:

This is an artist’s illustration of the Big Bang. We were discussing it in my astronomy class today. For those not well-versed, this is not an accurate depiction. Galaxies and planets and stars did not just come flying out. I just think it’s kind of a cool picture. For more info on the big bang, I think I have some more accurate pictures posted under the tag “Big Bang”. This is just some more astroganda.

(Also, be thankful, I’ve commandeered my girlfriend’s computer before our Arts School Prom to post some stuff for you guys. I feel bad I’ve been away so long)
